Managing a Canon imageRUNNER 1024 (iR1024) requires access to its system settings. Administrators use these settings to configure networks, manage print queues, and secure the device.
To completely clear a custom admin password and restore the factory default , you must access the printer's hidden Service Mode.

The Remote UI login screen will appear. Enter the following credentials and click [Log In]: The default code 7654321 will now be active
Use the numeric keypad to enter the ID ( 7654321 ) and Password ( 7654321 ). Press or Log In . Remote UI Access
For 95% of Canon iR1024 devices, will get you into admin mode. If that fails, 7654321 is your next best bet.
