Released in April 2020, Panchayat is a comedy-drama web series created by The Viral Fever (TVF). The story revolves around Abhishek Tripathi (played by Jitendra Kumar), an urban engineering graduate who, unable to find a better job, reluctantly accepts a position as the Panchayat Secretary in a remote village named Phulera in Uttar Pradesh.

However, life in Phulera is far from quiet. He is quickly introduced to the local power structure, led by the Pradhan-Pati, Brij Bhushan Dubey.
