The episode opens with a helicopter carrying Chancellor Sheppard crashing on a remote island. A mysterious figure, Makoto Inotsume , attacks Sheppard, demanding to know the whereabouts of Zane Truesdale. Inotsume, a user of the Jinzo Art (Psychic arts), effortlessly destroys Sheppard's "Cyber Ogre" deck, revealing he has a vendetta against the Cyber Art style.
