Truman Burbank (Jim Carrey) lives a mundane life in the idyllic town of Seahaven. However, Truman begins to suspect that something is amiss when strange events occur, and he starts to uncover the truth about his life. He discovers that his world is actually a television show, broadcast 24/7 to a massive audience. The show's creator and producer, Christof (Denis Leary), has manipulated every aspect of Truman's life, including his relationships, job, and even the weather.
